how to get the homebrew channal

what is the root of the sd card

If you don't know what a root of something it, please don't go messing with your Wii.

Ok... C'mon! root is the SD card first directory once you open the SD card , in PC or any Device.

right click>send files to>SDcard(whatever name you had name it)

You put the files there.

That's it!

hi ive got all files needed for the twilight hack did everything i was supposed to when i walked up to the guy it started but then it said i was running wii system menu version 385 v24 usa it says homebrew channel only tested on 290 v18 is there any way to get around this please help

Just accept, the homebrew channel will install fine.

I am right. The twilight hack was released just before it was tested on that version of the menu, but it works fine on it. (I should probably add this question to the FAQ later as it has been coming up quite a bit lately)

No.

Also, you can skip disc updates by launching games via an application called Gecko OS.

thank u very much i just heard that if u put in mario galaxy wich i own and have hombrew the game will brick the wii when it tries to update

one more question whats the difference of pal games and ntsc

They are different video modes. NTSC is used by North America and Japan while PAL is used in Europe and Australia
