WII HOMEBREW HACK HELP!!!!

Alright well my cousin has his homebrew channel and then he updated his wii through nintendo..And now his homebrew channel doesnt work anymore what can he do to make it work??????

What firmware are you on? (I assume 3.4)

Alright when my cousin goes on his homebrew it starts up but when he tries to use an application it wont work

Then he deleted the channel....Now when he reinstalled it...the save for the legend of zelda game wont come out

i have no clue lol no applications work

Make sure the gc memory cards arent inserted when you load applications.

my homebrew channel works perfect with 3.4

If you aren't able to reinstall the HBC, make sure you're using the latest version of the Twilight Hack, the latest version will be deleted after doing when the system reboots, but if you go directly to Zelda it will work.

Next, we'll need to know what apps you've tried and what you mean when you say they won't work.

I got my homebrew version from this guy on youtube The link said something like The october 23rd updat idk something like that

that really doesn't help much. here's an idea. format your sd card, download Twilight Hack beta 2 and the HackMii installer, also beta 2, and WiiSCU, then put the twilight hack on your sd card, then extract WiiSCU, and copy it's boot.dol to the root of your card, then start wii , copy Twilight Hack, start Twilight Princess, run twilight hack and it'll run WiiSCU. Select to install IOS 60 -trucha.

Then rename the hackmii installer's installer.elf file to boot.elf and put if at the root of the card, and delete the boot.dol from WiiSCU. then start the wii, copy twilight hack over and start twilight princess, and run twilight hack. then the hackmii installer should run. select Homebrew Channel and install it. then exit. you can also install DVDx and BootMii before you exit if you wish. Then once that's done, Homebrew Channel should work.

WE will not help you with backups here. go to GBAtemp and expect fail with it.
