If i were to buy a new wii from the store

If i were to buy a brand new wii would it come with the latest FW 4.0 preinstalled or does it have a older version because i really want to mod my wii once i get it and plan on using the twilight hack so will i be out of luck until they find a workaround for 4.0 or do the newer wiis still have the older firmware on them?

you might be able to get one that is pre 4.0... I'm sure not EVERY 3.4 Wii has been sold off and replaced on the store shelves yet.
