Will BootMii ever be a reality for those of us with a newer Wii?

I bought my (3rd) Wii back in December '08 and, when it came time to install the HBC, I noticed that I couldn't install BootMii as boot2 since I have the new boot1 (which I hear can't be modified outside Nintendo). Keeping this in mind, will it ever be possible to install BootMii on a Wii that has the new boot1 or will people like me have to have the HBC installed on the system itself for the rest of Wii's lifespan?

In simplest terms, why is it not possible? Just because of Nintendo's mad programming skills, or what?

Do you understand how, in order to install content, we need an IOS that has the fakesigning bug? Boot1 is kinda like that. Nintendo patched the bug we were using. Unlike IOSs, we can't downgrade it and there's only one. We also can't write data to boot1.

Thats the simplest explanation I can give you.
