How to tell what Wii System Menu version you are using

Hello, a noob here....
I've been reading about how HomeBrew isnt compatible with certain version of Wii Menu.
I have already installed it on mine (through BannerBomb) but I still dont know what specific version I am using.

How can you obtain this info from your Wii?
I know the last time I used an update was from the Mario Kart disc.
But now that I bought Ghostbusters it's asking me to update again.

Go to Settings, select System Settings and your version is in the top-right corner.

And the update is perfectly safe provided you have no fail ("backup" loaders, WADz etc.). Even then, it should be fine, they'll just stop working.

Currently all disc updates are safe, but dont update via WiFi. The latest update is dangerous to homebrew, and also it can brick any wii, with or without homebrew. (most ill effects have been reversed now, but the update itself is still dangerous to all Wiis, with or without homerbew)

That warning screen before the Disc Update really spooked me so I've been using GECKO to load the game.
Glad to know i can safely update it.
