Cannot get DVDx to work

I got a brand new Wii about 2 months ago. Installed HBC fine and have already utilized the SNES/n64 emulators with no problems. According to my Wii, DVDx installed successfully, but when I put in a DVD, it won't recognize it. I am using version 4.2 Wii. Let me know what other info is needed, thanks!

Your wii has a new disc drive that can't play DVDs. Aside from replacing the disc drive, there is nothing you can do about it.
