Internet Channel Update (Flash 9)

Is it somehow possible to make the Internet Channel support Flash 9?
Or is it possible to use a Linux with Firefox or so installed and access the internet from there?
Wasnt able to find if the ethernetdriver is working now...or not and on-screen-keyboard.

The TV-Stations here upload their content on their webpage, but unfortunately the Flash 7 Player of the Wii Channel is too outdated to open them. Saving the *.flvs is complicated because of the smtp-protocol...and is not very handy.

Nobody can freely implement a Flash Version higher than the one used in the Internet Channel, because Adobe/Macromeida do not deliver the SDKs and the licence.

So unless Adobe steps in oder somebody does major reingeneering it is not possible.

p.s.: smtp? (the simple mail transfer protocol?)

I did a quick google search and I saw nspluginwrapper was able to use flash9 on powerpc Linux through QEMU.
Unfortunately the website said it was only a proof of concept and will run slowly even on newer computers.
Gnash only works up to flash 7.

I think it sounds like a great project idea for the future
