update FCE Ultra GX and VB Adv GX leaves old version buttons on HBC

Hello Everyone

Recently got into the Wii Homebrew stuff and am so happy with the software. However I installed some software and when I update the software via the Wii it leaves the old icons/buttons from the previous version on the Homebrew channel along with the new version of the icon/button. This has happened so far fo the updates of both FCE Ultra GX and Visual Boy Advance GX. How do I get rid of the old icons/buttons from the home brew channel as they always send me to an update, which I already have?

Any help would be appreciated

Put your SD card into your computer and delete them.

Sorry delete what? Are they .png files? Where would I find them on the card?

Yes, the icons of apps are .pngs

EDIT: And by them, I meant the old ones which you seem to relate the problem to.

Think I've sussed it, i should delete the old app folder from the apps on the card, correct?

Yes, get rid of the old one keep the new one.
