you need to put apps on your sd card [wiibrew.org]

The Homebrew Channel is just a channel that lets you launch apps that you put on your SD card (so you don't have to run the banner bomb or Twilight Hack everytime.)

slightly off topic: it always confuses me how n00bs install HBC then complain nothing is there when they run it. I mean, what do they expect? They really shouldnt install something if they dont know what it is...

back on topic: Is all working well now?

they think the HBC has something in it (more like the HBB) They don't expect it to be a facilitator.

Agreed... this is why we have so many people come here asking about bricked wiis due to fail website tutorials. Read up on what you are about to do to your wii! :D

Yes it’s true
All the web videos I have seen about the installation, were not very clear.
They would show you the completed install & you would see they had some apps
So naturally we n00bs assume there are some apps already in it.

Just out of curiosity what are your favorite apps?
I am looking for a good one to use for game backups
