HackMii won´t install

Had 3.4US with bootmii v2 installed to boot2, HBC, DVDX. Upgraded to Nintendo's 4.2. HBC and DVDX survived, bootmii got wiped out, so I cannot even restore the nand backup. Tried installing bootmii v6 via bannerbomb, ran successfully, output told me that it could install HBC and DVDX but not bootmii, "boot2 could not be assembled (-1010000000)". Tried several different things, including installing IOS30 as recommended in this thread. Same result. Downgraded to 4.1US, same result. Here's the install.log from the last (4.1) attempt. The previous attempt logs were the same or similar. Any advice?

Delete IOS55, and then pop in any recent game, or use Dop-IOS MOD to install it.

Anytitle Deleter

I had HBC installed, but deleted it because it was upside down. I tried to reinstall, but got the error message: "There is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii."

Next I follow this thread. I delete IOS30 using AnyTitle Deleter. Then, load Dop-IOS MOD and reinstall the latest version of IOS30 (v1040).

When trying to reinstall HackMii, it freezes on screen about not paying for it. Below is the installer log. Any ideas on how to get HBC to run?

Load Dop-IOS MOD v9 updated IOS34 to v3348. Load HackMii, still freezes. Any other ideas?

Thank you so much!!! I spent hours reading forums trying to find an answer, and you fixed it.

Out of curiousity, what is the sig hash patch and what does it do? In the log, the asterisk next the revision means those IOS are patched, correct? Whenever I use Dop-IOS, I've been assuming it's okay to hit the A button whenever it asks. Is it safer to never apply the patch?

The only problem with having the IOSes patched is that the HackMii Installer won't use them (as a safety measure). So an un-patched IOS will allow the HackMii Installer to work its magic

the patch is required for some homebrew, to allow the installation of fakesigned content. however, this patch is unnecessary for HackMii Installer, because it can use a better exploit which is unrevealed to install fakesigned content. it will not use a patched IOS because if it is patched, it is hard to tell what patches are applied, and whether the patches will work with what it tries to do. For that reason, it will only accept official, unpatched IOS.

Hello. This is my 1st post ever on a forum. I had the same problem: used hackmii with LU64 on a 3.4 U and worked beautifully. Then run a tutorial to upgrade to 4.0 to 4.1. So far so good. Then applied Dop-IOS changes and my HBC got upside down and USb loader would not recognize the USB drive. I tried to reinstall hackmii (that in turns installs HBC) but it gave me the v0.6 message crapp. I though that if I erase the HBC usin the WII menu the hackmii will work but it still says it wont install untill there is a newer version.

Can you guys walk me through how to get hbc installed again? Thank you

USB Loader is not supported here. Read the rules.

And you cannot install HackMii. It is a web blog. Neither can you install HackMii Installer. You run it and install HBC, DVDx and/or BootMii.

Anyway, what do you mean "the v0.6 message crapp"? If you mean "No vulnerable IOS found", you should have said that. Anyway, if that is what you mean, the answer to your problem is in this thread at least a dozen times - delete IOS34 with AnyTitle Deleter and reinstall it with dop-IOS MOD.

I can't get the hack mii installer pass the hbc installation. its saying that my wii system menu is 481 v30 usa and its only been tested on 354 v22 and below...Is this wii hackable....if so i need a bit of help.

are you using the HackMii Installer from here?

yeah i was and i got it working.......it wanted a fully reformatted sd card.....after that everything went smoothly.
