BootMii installed as boot2 - not booting on startup

ive just installed the new bootmii as boot2 with the newest hackmii installer and i cant get bootmii to boot when i turn my wii on
i have the SD card in (a transcend 2GB) and there is a bootmii folder with the armboot.bin, ppcboot.elf and bootmii.ini inside it
my config file looks like this (the default written by the bootmii install)
# BootMii config file

# Video mode, possible settings:
# NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE
VIDEO=PAL60

# Autoboot, possible settings:
# SYSMENU, HBC
#AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU

# Autoboot delay, in seconds:
# Default is 5
#BOOTDELAY=0.1
does anyone have any ideas why bootmii isnt booting? its definitely installed as boot2 and has worked in the past with the old bootmii...

Remove the bootmii folder from your SD Card (or move it somewhere on your pc for backup purposes) and then reinstall BootMii again.

Maybe your SD is incompatible. Can you try another one? Also are you 100% sure you installed as boot2 not IOS? Check by pressing home in HBC, if Launch BootMii option appears and works, you have IOS installed not boot2.

Without the SD card, check for the Wii flashing the DVD drive slot. If it doesn't do it, it's not installed. If it does it while the SD card is in, the SD card isn't supported.
