wii shop channel

help me i want to enter the wii shop channel, but i dont want to update my wii, i know that exist wiiscu, but i dont know if it will update the shop channel to the 4.2 version of the shop channel

It will - the shop title hasn't changed.

You can also use Dop-IOS MOD or IOS 61 and Shop Installer.

I have the same problem. I got WiiSCU, but can't seem to get it to work. What do you do exactly?

I think you have to install IOS 70 alongside IOS 61 or else the Shop channel refuses to work.

iirc WiiSCU installs it for you

Mine says that it is not currently available or something along them lines. . .
