Gecko OS 1.9.3

I have gecko OS 1.9.3 the only problem is is that I can't find any "Reboot with Hooks" or anything like that. all I can do is launch game. What happened? I know there is a version you can reboot with hooks because I did have it once. Is there any way to add it again? I have a 4.2 NTSC wii.

You need the trucha bug in IOS36 to use the rebooter. You could possibly use Dop-IOS MOD.

Yeah I just found that out but thanks anyways, what happened is that my wii was at 4.0U and I used a safe updater to 4.2U but it uninstalled my originally patched IOS36 but I didn't think it would. I needed to update to 4.2 because my little siblings play the wii when I'm not home and I was afriad they would play NSMBW and Accidently update my system so I did a safe update.

I know this thread is a couple pages old but I was wondering, What exactly does reboot with hooks do? I know you can move the disc channel around but what else does it do?

You can patch anything, basically. You could make channels invisible and stuff like that, but you wouldn't want to.

Do you just make some SD codes in a GCT file for the system menu?

If you're talking about reboot with hooks, the patches are set in gecko os, you cant change them.

Really ok but what do the patches do that's what I want to know.

There are a few of them, such as remove copy protection on saves, move disc channel, region free discs and channels, i think USB gecko debugging, probably a few others too. The names should explain them fairly well when you run Gecko OS.

Installing Code Downloader and Cheat Manager on your SD card should work. Get the codes with Code Downloader, build the .gct with Cheat Manager, and apply it with Gecko.
