1. Delete the existing Weather Channel with AnyTitle Deleter.
2. Install the US Weather Channel with Dop-IOS MOD.

I also seem to be having the same problem. Mine was a Japanese set which was modified to English (from 3.2J to 3.2U). The error I got was:

Can you advise me what is the best course of action? If its the same as the above step, please advise where to get the IOS files (not sure where is NUS) and also the guide for DOP-IOS.

Thank you.

Use DOP-Mii to install IOS 30 v1040 and the oldest versions of all other IOSes.

I have a few follow up questions:

1. What are the oldest revs of the other IOS? Where can I find them?
2. Will changing to oldest revs cause me to lose functionality. Can I still play backup games?
3. How do I exactly load IOS using DOP-Mii? Is there a guide somewhere? I could find the faq but it does not mention detailed steps for a newbie like me.

Thank you once again.

FYI, "backups" are not to be spoken of here. Mention them again and you will be banned.

My apologies for the lack of sensitivity.

The oldest revs can be installed using Dop-MII. When given the choice of revision, simply pick the oldest.

Sorry. But I am really lost. I have been confused reading different guides. Most mention using homebrew to load DOP-Mii. But i do not have homebrew now. Will be good to get some advice on how to use DOP-Mii directly. Can I check if this is what I should do:

1. Put DOP-Mii boot.dol file in SD card root?
2. Put Wad files in SD card root? (My wireless cannot work with my Wii)
3. Go to Data Management, then Channels, then SD card. Then insert?

Is this the right procedure?

Thank you.

Yes.

Make sure the WADs have the correct names, which they should if you used NUS Downloader to get them.

I just bought a wii secondhand, and when i tried to load the homebrew channel. It told me that i didn't have any useable ios for my 4.2 channel, and if this was the latest version of hackmii to suck it. I just need to know in full detail how to fix this problem.

Use DOP-Mii or a WAD installer to install the latest revision of IOS 34 and IOS 61 without patches. Be sure you are using the latest version of the Hackmii Installer (v0.7b).
