How big are the Weather and News Channels?

I'm considering deleting them with AnyTitleDeleter Mod, but before I do I'd like to know how much space on my NAND I'll get back. Also, when I looked at these titles in ATD Mod, I saw two entries for each... one ended in E and the other ended in A. What's up with that?

A is the universal title and E the European title. Some channels require them both installed to work.

Okay, that's good to know. But does anyone know how much space I'd save on my NAND by deleting them? I never use WiiConnect24 and my internet is slow, so I can't imagine a use for them.

why not just delete them and see how many blocks you save? or couldn't you check how many each take up in data management first?

IIRC deleting the pre-installed channels doesn't free up any [usable] space. They aren't part of the memory you can use

that would make sense. the wii has space set aside for ios, system menu and presumably system channels which cannot be used, hence installing or deleting ios doesn't affect free blocks much. does a little though because of tickets.

Somewhat related question: How big, in terms of Megabytes, is a block?
