homebrew help on v4.2

I have a 4.2 wii that i can not get the homebrew channel to reload on.

we got it and had it all softmodded with the 4.2 update on a 4.0

we system updated through the network to 4.2.

we were going through the steps to install the homebrew channel and i removed the old one and now i can not get it to reinstall. The screen just goes black.

we have even tried to do system restore on wii.

is there any way to install homebrew with a wad. or install usb loader and use usb loader to install the homebrew channel.

i am on boot2 version 4.

on step a had error 1035.

on step b had error 2011

installed ios16 also

okay i am sorry, i would just like help to set up the homebrew channel on my wii. i like some of the apps the homebrew browser has.

Is this the method you are using?

i have tried numerous ways of doing it.

When I clicked on your link, I pressed command find, and I typed in "cios" and "backups." I think got at least 8 results for each. I would suggest removing those links, and following the tutorial on the page that I linked you to.
That should help solve your problem. :)

i loaded the boot.dol file and the bannerbomb file and when it tried to load it went to a black screen.

so i tried some of the other links on the bannerbomb site and only got a white question mark for a channel saying it could not load.

Does this help you at all?

What version of bannerbomb are you using?

V2 since i am on 4.2

First, are you trying to load v0.6 of the HackMii Installer? It looks like you aren't. Older installers no longer work, so go to [www.bootmii.org] to download it.

Rename installer.elf to boot.elf and try to launch it.

If bannerbomb doesn't work, use Smash Stack or Indiana Pwns.
