HELP! i can't get it to work!

I just decided to look this up and try this out today so im a total nub when it comes to this but bear with me....

I downloaded the HackMii installer and BannerBomb for my version of the wii system (ver. 4.2U)

then i put the boot.elf and the private folder on a completely blank 2GB SD card

i did exactly as it says in the tutorial... wii main menu>wii options>data management>channels>SD Card

then it freezes!

I've tried every version of BannerBomb for system 4.2 (abd6a_v200, abd6b_v200, and abd69_v200) and i've tried putting the SD card in before and after navigating thru the menus... anyone have any idea what's wrong and how i can make it work? i can post screen shots of the SD card menu for proof if your solution is that i'm just dumb and don't have the right files...

Go to the SD Card Menu on the first screen you see instead.

Which version of "BannerBomb" finally worked for you?

I have got the same 4.2U software and i'm about to install HBC on my Wii but i'm bit nervous...did you do anything extra from tutorial's on HBC site?

He wouldn't have had to.

You will be fine as long as you use bannerbomb v2.
