Just a few questions

I have a few questions I need answered before I install the Homebrew Channel and everything. It would be a big help if someone could answer them all.

Can I still use Wifi on my Wii with the Homebrew Channel installed or will it mess up my Wii? (online games, official channels, etc.)
Do I store all of the applications on an SD card or does it stay on the Wii's internal memory? (I know the Homebrew Channel stays on the Wii, but what about the apps?) If the former is true, what size of SD card would you recommend? (how many GB)
Is it true that using DVDX to use DVDs on your Wii will harm your laser?

You can still use WiFi just the same.

Apps are stored on your SD card "apps/appfolder/boot.dol"

It depends what you want to store. If it's just Homebrew games/applications it should be enough.
