USB and the new Homebrew update

Ok I'm new to homebrew about a month or so in. Could someone tell me how or what I need to use a usb stick to store homebrew stuff on as this is so much easier to deal with when I am going back and forth to my laptop for download( the reason for this is Internet at my house sucks and I have a fast connection at work, but i cant use homebrew browser at work ).
If this has been answered in another place let me know and I'll go there but I can't seem to find anything on usb with the newest HB I really don't know anything about programing so as idiot proof as possible would be great.
Thanks alot
Toa

Set up the USB stick the same as an SD card; Create an "apps" folder and put apps in there.

If you already have an SD card set up, you can just copy everything over from that to your USB stick.

If you don't have system menu 4.3, install IOS 58 and then reinstall Homebrew Channel 1.0.8. This will allow the Homebrew Channel and some applications to read your USB device at USB 2.0 speed.
