Little bit Lost

I'm pretty much new to the homebrew installation. I followed the steps to installing the homebrew channel by using the Indiana Pwns and BootMii. I believed everything installed correctly but what do I do with the SD card? Do I need to have it always in the Wii?

Also when I launch BootMii it takes me to this screen.



I cannot select anything here. Is this how it is suppose to be? I don't wanna get banned for talking about something I am suppose to.

BootMii does not work with the Wii Remote. That is why you can't select anything. Also, you need your SD card in if you want to launch BootMii or apps from it.
