updating questions

Hey everybody. I have a few questions about updating my Wii to 4.3.
1. I have bootmii as boot2 and an IOS. Will my Wii brick or stop reading discs if I update? If so, what are the odds of that happening?
2. Does 4.3 have USB support?
3. Are there any safer alternatives to updating? If so, what are they?
4. Will Savegame Extractor/Installer still work if I update to 4.3?

I know that updating isn't a great idea because it gets rid of DVDX (which I never use), but I really want to buy and play newer games such as Super Mario Galaxy 2, Kirby's Epic Yarn, etc.

If you want usb support get the IOS 58 installer, install IOS 58 reinstall HBC so it will see it. When you install HBC get the latest hackmii installer so it will install the latest HBC. And you can run with it, DVDx is obsolete now as you can use wiimc to read dvd's.

I don't think you can have boot mii boot 2 and as a IOS think its one or another.

And no you will not brick by going to 4.3, just update your HBC FIRST before going to 4.3 it will delete the HBC, and you wil have to install it again.

Thank you. (:
BTW, I already have HBC (the latest version), and I have bootmii as boot2 and IOS.

If you have the latest HBC 1.0.8 then you can safely update to 4.3
