I hate to ask but what is the difference between IOS and cIOS?

I'm looking for a tutorial or help in getting Gecko 1.9.0.1 working with my Wiiware games..

A cIOS is a "custom" IOS which means it is modified to do something that it normally wouldn't do. cIOSes aren't supported here.

Okay, so does downgrading an IOS like #36, count as a cIOS?

If you install an old version of unmodified IOS36 then it isn't a cIOS

Alright, does anybody here know how to get GeckoOS 1.9.0.1 to work with Wiiware on a 4.3 Wii? I tried the original IOS36 through the Homebrew App, DOPMii - and Gecko won't launch. Next version up, Gecko will launch but Homebrew Channel is upside down.

Install IOS 58 and re-install homebrew channel to turn the Homebrew Channel the right way.

Yeah, HBC is fixed, but I'm still getting nowhere with the GeckoOS issue. :/

Try using very old versions of IOS 36 - The IOS you're trying to install may be a version with the bug patched. Try to get the oldest version you can, and work up from there to find the latest version that will work.
