BootMii won't boot channels/apps?

Every time i try to boot a .dol/.elf file I get "Could not boot selected file!" or something along those lines. I used the brawl hack...
I think what the problem is that I when tried to uninstall bootmii-IOS, (I have it both installed as a boot2 and IOS) It would say it's deleted, then exit to homebrew. Then when I checked the hackmii installer, the "uninstall as IOS" option was still there :\
EDIT: I have the homebrew channel installed already, but it's not helping
EDIT #2: I currently have 11 apps on my SD card, but none of them are showing.

You can't use BootMii to load homebrew apps, you have to install the Homebrew Channel.

HOW???????? When I press "home" on my wiimote, it gives me the options of "Back, About, Launch BootMii, Return to system menu, Shutdown" Nothing about downloads!

edit: sarcasm removed... my bad!

you have to put apps in your apps folder... then put the SD card in your wii, then load HBC.

the HBC doesn't download apps... it launches them.

I know that. I have 11 apps on my SD card but none of them are showing

Yes, they are as follows... SD:/private/wii/apps/nameofapp

Nope. It should be SD:/apps/nameofapp .
I don't know where you got the idea that the "apps" folder should be in the "private" folder...
