I am 100% lost, please help

I have absolutely no idea where to even start. All the guides I'm reading for installed the homebrew channel say to download hackmii and use the letterbomb to be able to install hbc. But the download fails every single time from the hackmii site. I don't understand what to do, please help.

Are you trying to download Letterbomb from please.hackmii.com and that's failing? What error message are you seeing? I'm a newbie too, but have made some progress in loading whiite linux.
