Uninstalling?

My Wii is suffering from a dirty laser and won't read the discs. I'm going to send it in to Nintendo for a free repair, but don't want to be rejected for installing the homebrew channel. I removed homebrew already from Data Management, is there any way to clear the system log? Anything else I should do before sending it away?

I think that Nintendo doesn't even turn on the wii, they will just replace the drive...

I believe DrLucky is right. However they'll probably clean your drive, not replace it. If you're paranoid, you could try formatting the wii's system memory or buying a clean-it-yourself-kit online.

I'll be sending my wii for repairs too. Maybe the app called AnyTitle Deleter would work? Does anyone know if this app deletes all logs associated with HBC?

Alright, thanks guys. I agree with the idea that they probably wont look too much into the problem and will just clean the drive.
