Is this possible? Hacking the input to the Wii.

I'm kind of a newb to Homebrew and BootMii, etc.

I'm hoping you can tell me if what I want to do is possible, and then point me to a good resource if it is.

- I want to hack the input to the Wii and use something other than the Wiimote to talk to the Wii - but I want to still play standard Wii games. For example if I wanted to use a joystick instead of the Wiimote to play Wii Sports Boxing.
- I know the Wiimote uses the Broadcom BCM2042 as the main processor and Bluetooth connection to the Wii. Is there a way to sniff out what the Wiimote is sending back to the Wii and recreate that some other way?

Thanks for your help! Let me know if you need me to clarify anything!

Wouldn't doing so defeat the purpose of wii sports? If you are too lazy to use the Wii remote, don't play it. In short, no there is no way.

In theory, there is a way. However, what your asking would take far more work than anyone is willing to put into this. It also kinda defeats the purpose of the wiimote
