Reverting to Beta1

I´d like to know if it´s safe to overwrite Beta2 with the Beta1 installation, or should I uninstall it and then install Beta1.

My problem is that the Beta2 MINI won´t work on my 2GB Sandisk card - known issue - although it worked fine with Beta1. Also, I can´t use it via the Homebrew Channel. It loads fine, but I can´t navigate because I only have a Wavebird GC controller which won´t work and the Power button won´t cycle through options - both also known issues, from what I read.

Strange, my 2gb Sandisk Card works fine with beta2 bootmii. 1.0.3 hbc however didn't work for me and I was able to overwrite back to 1.0.2 hbc with the hackmii installer just fine.
