USBGecko Causes Bootmii to lag?

When I have my USBGecko plugged into slot2, the bootmii loader takes a good 30 seconds or so to show up. Is this a feature dealing with outputting something to the Gecko, or is it a bug? I'm currently using the bootmii distributed with hackmii installer v0.6

BootMii probably (or maybe certainly) has USBGecko debugging features, so that's what that is.

Boot2 of course, because it wouldn't be interrupting the bootup if it was ios. If this is a debugging feature, is there a way to turn it off?

you didn't say anything about bootup. it was not at all obvious from your first post that you had it as boot2.

anyway, i dont think you can disable this, other than unplugging USB Gecko. Just plug it in when you actually need it, and you should be fine.

or just open up a app on your PC to read the USB gecko output. in windows, run geckoreader.exe, or linux do cat /dev/ttyUSB0 in a terminal.
