I was advised before that probably Bootmii wouldn't work on a Korean Wii?

Can anyone confirm this?

I have two Wii's as follows:

System Menu 3.3K with the HBC installed, however this is bricked by an out of region update ( Press "A" screen appears in English and pressing A locks the console up. - before brick the Press "A" was in Korean)

System Menmu 3.5K no HBC.

Will this initial relase of Bootmii be of any use in either booting the 3.3K Wii or installing HBC on the 3.5K?

Any advice much appreciated.

Oh and to Bushing, Marcan and the rest of the team - congartulations. Really fantastic work folks.

Impossible to both.

Your boot1 is invulnerable to Bootmii...it can only be installed as an IOS for your Wiis.

I got a chance to run the installer but got some results that I haven't saw on any other thread yet:

I used bannerbomb to start the hackmii installer. The scam alert screen appears and after a few seconds the "Press 1" option appears.

On pressing 1 the HackMii installer starts and displays the following screen:

HackMii installer v0.1 (c) 2008, 2009 Team Twiizers

The test results are in:

Using IOS versions: Installer: 21, Channels: 52

The Homebrew Channel: Can be installed
DVDX: Can be installed
BootMii: Can NOT be installed
boot1 and/or boot2 could not be read (-106)

> Continue

When I press A to continue the following screen gives me the options to install The Homebrew Channel and DVDX.

Attempting to install HBC gives the following:

Installing The Homebrew Channel ...
. Error installing the ticket (-1030002011) .

FAILED (-1030002011) .

> Continue

Attempting to install DVDX gives the same error.

I alos tried to install the HBC 1.0.1 directly using Bannerbomb but this also failed:

Loading Installation data ...
Checking system ...

I'm running under IOS21 2.7
Error checking the System Menu version!

This is the same error I get if I try to run the Twilight Hack.

I checked the SD card and found that the installer had written a file installer.log. The contents are as follows:

HackMii v0.1 installer starting up
55 titles are installed
Found IOS 254: revision: 0x2.
Found IOS 51: revision: 0x1219.
Found IOS 46: revision: 0xb15.
Found IOS 52: revision: 0x161d.
Found IOS 45: revision: 0xb13.
Found IOS 43: revision: 0xb13.
Found IOS 41: revision: 0xb13.
Found IOS 40: revision: 0xc00.
Found IOS 37: revision: 0x816.
Found IOS 21: revision: 0x207.
Found IOS 2: revision: 0x186.
Found IOS 9: revision: 0x206.
Found IOS 4: revision: 0xff00.
The test results are in:

Using IOS versions: Installer: 21, Channels: 52

The Homebrew Channel: Can be installed
DVDX: Can be installed
BootMii: Can NOT be installed
boot1 and/or boot2 could not be read (-106)

So, still no Bootmii or HBC! Any ideas?
