Make bootmii autoboot to file

it's not bootmiiboot.gz it's bootmiiboot.tgz. Whatever you are using to download (I guess IE, because IE is GREAT as screwing this up) is not saving the right file extension.

Try renaming the file to bootmiiboot.tar.gz before extracting.
Or, on Solaris, try "tar -xzf bootmiiboot.tgz"

I have been waiting for days for you to respond and I completely missed the fact that your response was already there on Page 2.

Thanks a bunch...I renamed the file extension to tgz and even on a Windows machine it identified the 3 files in the archive.

Just tried it...works like a charm...I turned my desired program into a Channel using CustomizeMii and then used the example of loading a new version to HBC to boot it. Works great. Hope you don't mind that I customized the boot message for my own use.
