BootMii install not starting at all

Hello great Team Twiizers,

I have an error report for the recently released BootMii.

I have a Launch Day Wii with 3.2U,
hooked up to a SYLVANIA LCD HDTV with component cables.

I launch the .elf with the HBC and all I get is a black screen.

I suspect that it is the component cables that are giving the problems,
but I don't have an composite to try out.
I tried switching between 480p and 480i in the wii menu to no avail.

I hope that this can be fixed.

Thanks!

Well from what I've heard the installer refuses to load on Wii's with the new boot1...but you said you have a 3.2U so I don't think you have a new boot1...

Are you running this installer through bannerbomb?

Nope,
I just put the .elf in the app folder, renamed it to boot.elf, started the HBC, and loaded the .elf

I know I don't have the new boot 1 because I got my Wii when it first came out.

I think it either has to do with the component cables,
or possible the SD card I am using.
I am using a 2GB Kingston MicroSD + Adapter.
Maybe I need a regular SD card?
I will try that when I can get my hands on one.

I'm running Bootmii through the HBC, w/the twilight hack, Wii v.3.3U tried with 2 different 2GB cards, one PNY, one Sandisk, neither are booting under the boot2 setup. Reboot goes to health screen, then into main menu, like nothing ever happened. I totally understand the whole "this is a beta thing", and that certain types of SD cards may be having issues, but I'm just making sure I'm not making a id10t error.

I had this same problem the reason it was doing this was I had a old version of the Homebrew Channel . I haven't had my Wii connected to the WiFi and as it turns out I had a outdated Homebrew Channel installed. I downloaded the newest one from the website installed it , then ran the Bootmii dol again and it worked perfect. Thanks TT
