Already post the same issue in HackMii announcement section, but more test reults here:
A no-brand SD 1GB:
It works OK in both BootMii and HBC 1.0.2
A no-brand SDHC 4GB (the same results for single or dual partitions test):
It cannot work as descripted in the Known Issues (get a brief drive flash and then go directly to the system menu). But it also cannot work in HBC 1.0.2 (works in System Menu 4.0U and HBC 1.0.1).
note: Partition ID is 0x0C (FAT32x) for single partition test. For dual partitions test, the 1st partition is 0x06 (FAT16, size 768MB) and the 2nd one is 0x07 (NTFS).
A Transcend class6 SDHC 16GB (dual partitions test only):
While powering on, BootMii hang without drive flash. Also cannot work in HBC 1.0.2 but OK in System Menu 4.0U and HBC 1.0.1. The 1st partition is 0x0B (FAT32, size ~2GB) and the 2nd one is 0x07 (NTFS). Sorry cannot make single partition test because it's not easy to backup the fake NTFS partition.
It is strange that HBC 1.0.2 has different compatibility issues from HBC 1.0.1. So they use different library?

The more severe problem for me is my Transcend 16GB cause BootMii hang while booting up. Then I have to frequently plug/unplug my 16GB SDHC.
Team Twiizers has already known some SD issues so as to implement drive flash with unsupported card. But hang in bootup should be another unknown problem. Sorry I have no USBGecko to log debug info.

Do you have a non-SDHC card?
If so, add an apps folder to it and put the original HBC there.
