Patchmii Core + Bootmii IOS both use IOS254

I ran across this problem on my friend's chipped Wii. In order for DVDX to run on a chipped wii, you need to have Patchmii core which is installed on IOS254. If you install Bootmii IOS on a chiped wii, DVDX will not work because Patchmii is overwritten with Bootmii. Any solutions to this problem?
