Installing BootMii/boot2 fails on an old (~end of 2007) Wii

So I read the readme and launched the HackMii installer (beta 2) from my HBC,
Installed DVDx just fine,
Prepared my regular SD card just fine,
but when I went to install BootMii/boot2 I got (all of the text in its entirety)

Installing BootMii/boot2...
Erasing NAND blcok 3
Writing NAND block 3
Verifying NAND block 3 to block 0 of BootMii
Erasing NAND block 4
Erasing NAND block 3
Erasing NAND block 4

FAILED (-1020000013).

is anyone able to help with this error? If it helps I'm running on 3.3u

I have the same problem.
My wii is bought in 2007 and I have the homebrew channel 1.03 and the new version of dvdx
I only can install bootmii as a IOS and works very fine, i have also a copy of my nand

Hmm, well you don't have the new boot1, as my wii is a end of 2007 too, and my installation of bootmii as boot2 worked fine.

Did you try to install BootMii again?

If i remember right I bought my wii near the end of 2007 and boot2 installation was fine last week. Have you installed any other app that may coincide with bootmii such as an ios or cios

with the new beta 0.3 I can install boot mii as boot2.
