BootMii v2 for Boot2v4 cant install only IOS??

I apologize in advance if I am posting in the wrong area, but issue is with BootMii v2, which is suppose to be able to be installed on the newer boot2v4. The two Wii's I have LU37's when I tried to install said the Boot2 was not an option and that IOS was my only choice still. That is orig what happened when I tried BootMii v1.

However with v2 it quickly went to the screen without doing a check of the nand first.. so I dont think it tried to install on boot2.

No. The new version of BootMii can still only be installed as an IOS. The HackMii Installer itself had some problems in the first beta, which have been fixed. That was the app that HackMii was referring to.

Thanks, but I thought the v2 was going to help the wii's that were built sometime mid 08? I have another one that boot mii installed perfectly, backed up nand not one error..

There will probably never be a fix to allow BootMii to be installed as boot2 on newer Wiis.
