Can't run HBC 1.02 or 1.03 from BootMii or System Menu

HBC 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 will not load on my Wii. Running firmware 3.2E (never downgraded!), BootMii Beta 1 boot2 installation, 2Gb SanDisk for Wii memory card (non SDHC).

BootMii Beta 1 installed HBC 1.0.2 over 1.0.1. After rebooting my Wii HBC refused to load both from BootMii and system menu, resulting in a black screen which required holding the power button for 4 seconds to turn off/reset. So I reinstalled 1.0.1 and it worked again. Yesterday HBC 1.0.1 prompted me to upgrade to 1.0.3 which I tried, which also failed to load, reinstalled 1.0.1 and it's working again.

I'm having the exact same problem, but for some reason my threads never seem to go through.. oh well

I'm stuck on HBC v1.0.1

This bug has already been submitted to the bootmii bug tracker, and the developers said that there will be a fix in the next release.

That bug report was only opened _after_ hbc 1.03 was released, I have this problem with 1.02 too.

So it's a problem with BootMii? I thought it was a HBC issue, since I'm unable to access it, whether it's from BootMii or from System Menu..

I had this problem after updating to system menu 4.0. Had to revert back and now everything works fine.

I'm going to try the idea suggested in the last post in this thread and will report back when tested.

EDIT: Installed IOS60 and IOS61 (neither were installed) using WiiSCU and updated to HBC1.03, now working fine.

Having the same prob.
I'm using BootMii Beta 2. The HackMii installer. My firmware is 3.1U I can install everything correctly but when I access the homebrew channel the Wii menu just resets.

From the BootMii menu I get the same black screen. Everything else is just fine but the HBC.

can anyone tell me where I can get the file to install hbc 1.0.1
