Troubles installing bootmii/boot2

i installed bootmii as an IOS, but when i tried to install as boot2, it says "sucess" and it wont read my wii remote. i try the GCN controller, and only the A button is functional. after that, my wiimote works again. when i turn on the wii, there is a delay, then it boots normally. help?

turn on the wii and look at it right before booting into the normal sysmenu:

if you notice a short flash of the blue led at the wii,then it means that bootmii/boot2 is installed but your sd card is not compatible...if you don't see the short blue flash,then bootmii/boot2 simply is NOT installed...try reinstalling!

it has one starting flash then two-rapid flashes, so its probably my sd card :(
it is a lexar 8Gb card for anyone else who has one like that.
ill also try a 4Gb kingston and post the updates...

what do you mean by that?? please be more precise...what exactly doesn't work with the hackmii installer? i hope you at least read the FAQ on bootmii.org, this could save us alot of time...

sorry about that, i ment that bootmii works on startup but i cant install the HBC, dvdx or bootmii with it :)
