System menu causes reboot

System Menu: 4.1E
Menu information after installing Homebrew
1.0.3
IOS61 v19.26

Hello,

I installed BootMii using Bannerbomb (aad1f_v108.zip) and HackMii Installer v0.2. I installed into Boot 2. I've got the Homebrew channel and can play DVDs (already a lot!! thanks). The only way I can get to the Bootmii menu is via the Homebrew menu - Launch BootMii. I then see 4 icons and the first one is Bootmii but I can see the white dots that underline the icon counting down and when they do the system reboots back to the normal Wii channel menu.

Is that a bug or can I do anything to stop the countdown? I presume I'm missing the chance to backup my system??

I'm at the level of following instructions!

The last part of instaler log says:

Runtime files will be written, these are required to
properly boot BootMii.

Mounting SD card...
Creating directory '/bootmii'...
Writing '/bootmii/armboot.bin'...
Writing '/bootmii/ppcboot.elf'...
Writing config file...
Skipped, file already exists

Done.

A BootMii install requires a SD card.

ehm, thats not a bug....I'm pretty sure that means that you have bootmii set to autoboot your system menu. To fix that, use this app, and change the settings to no autoboot. That should help. :)

On the root of your SD Card, go to the Bootmii directory and open up the config file in notepad. Erase the Autoboot option, then save. put the card back in your Wii then try Bootmii agan.

Read the manual, you need to use a GC controller or the power/reset buttons.

That's the autoboot feature. Sysmenu will automatically be booted unless a button on the GC controller or the power button on the Wii is pressed. The power and eject buttons can't be used for navigation, ect, when launched from HBC. You need a GC controller to use Bootmii from HBC.
