Installing BootMii public beta 3 over beta 2

Hello, I've got the public beta 2 version of BootMii installed. Is it alright to install beta 3 over 2? I'm interested in the wavebird support.

Yes. I have installed beta 3 over beta 2 without problems.

There's no reason why it should be a problem. It's just an update which fixes some bugs and adds Wavebird support.

I've updated, and there are no problems.

I thought it was safe to upgrade from beta 2 to 3, but I just got a scary core dump during the install of beta 3.

It happens AFTER copying the files on the SD.

My Wii boot fine and BootMii version is now 1.0 Is this ok ?

What else can I do to make sure that everything ok and I have the beta 3 ?

There no log on the SD card, why ?

Should I try the install again ?

Beta 1 = 0.8
Beta 2 = 0.9
Beta 3 = 1.0
It tells you the Stub (installed bit) Mini (armboot.bin) and Bootmii (ppcboot.elf) versions. If they're all 1.0, you have a full Beta 3.
There is no log on the SD because it froze before it had a chance to write it.

I reinstall the beta 3 and everything was fine.

Everything is now 1.0.
