Nand Backup problem?
September 22, 2009 09:10PM
I've recently bricked my wii, I think, and I tried restoring from my NAND Backup that I made, but for some reason Bootmii tells me that it's from a different wii... I'm not sure what to do at this point x_x;

and If Possible, could anyone perhaps assist me by telling me a different way to fix the brick? It happened when I used the IOS 60 Patcher.

EDIT

I have one of the very first Wiis and it's 4.1 U

EDIT2

I found that fix for the Different wii thing, but when I try to use RestoreMii, it doesn't move at all. Normally, about how long should it take to do the restore?

You must be using beta 3.... there is a bug in it that will say your backup is from a different wii (as you probably know)

You could install the beta 4 test version. This could be very risky as if something goes wrong then your boot2 could be corrupted then you would have to use a NAND programmer like infectus.
Or you could use betwin to put the keys into the NAND.bin

Can you launch HBC from BootMii? If so, you can try to fix the brick without restoring a NAND dump. Use NUSD to download IOS60 and pack it as a WAD. Use wadimport to install it.
