im just wondering, i have a wii serial that starts with LAE
i tried the installer and it says i can install bootmii but only as an ios.
As i understand, it is said that i can install bootmii on boot2 as long as my wii doesnt have a serial starting with LU64?
can somebody help me with this please?
my damn friend updated my wii accidentally to 3.4E in disc channel and im scared to downgrade back to 3.2 and also install shop updates.

Serial numbers have no bearing on ability to install BootMii as boot2. Especially seeing as LU64 is an American serial number and you have a PAL Wii. Its just that "LU64+" Wiis (which have PAL equivalents) have other slight changes which stop some "mods" working. But nothing supported here. You are prevented from installing BootMii as boot2 if your Wii is too new and has an updated boot1. Some Wiis before LU64 have an updated boot1 and cant install BootMii as boot2. I'm afraid you will never be able to install BootMii as boot2, unless Team twiizers find another usable exploit in boot1.
