strange bootmii issues

so, hello there.

ive tried to install bootmii as boot2 on my wii.

i had the bootmii installer on a sd, went to the wii menu, the channel menu on sd, and it autostarts the hackmii installer.

i installed bootmii, used the same sd, where bootmii was on, and installed it as boot2.

it told me "success", so i rebootet my wii, but nothing happened.
no bootmii menu, only the usual nintendo wii menu, telling me to hit (A).

does anyone know what i did wrong?

Is your sd card still inserted?

Your SD card is probably not compatiable with Bootmii (it does not matter that it works with everything else). If your SD card is inserted in your wii and the disc drive slot light blinks twice when you turn it on, try another SD card. You must copy the bootmii folder from your original SD card to the new one, or select prepare SD card in the Hackmii Installer. Bootmii can't load without its files on the SD card.

i copied it onto my kingston sd, and it works great. thank you!

but ive got still this "update wii" problem, inserting monster hunter tri dvd
does this game require FW 4.2 or will i still get this message after updating (with hackmii) to 4.2?

What do you mean "update wii problem" just update the Wii normally, then, after 4.2 is installed, you can re-install bootmii as boot2

Glad you got it fixed.

Go ahead and update from the game. Although it is possible to avoid the update, there is no need to do so. However, the update will remove Bootmii, so you will need to reinstall it after updating.

ok, i managed to get everything to work again.

the only problem left is, i cant play this game.
