Restore problem

I am trying to restore NAND from a backup, but this is what happens:

from BootMii I select the restore from SD;
simulation mode starts and checks the backup;
Simulation successful;
I see the message "Press Start (Eject) to start the real restore..."
I press Start, but I AM RETURNED TO BOOTMII MENU!

Tried a couple more times, changed the SD card with one with only NAND backup and BootMii on it... no way, same outcome.

This is my config:
System menu 3.4E
BootMii v1.3 (installed as boot2)
Stub 1.3
Mini v0.4

BTW, backup was made with the same version of BootMii (same Wii, of course)

What do you mean by you 'press start'?

What you should press is the eject button in the front of your Wii console.

Pressing Start on a Gamecube controller does the same thing.

I'm no expert but maybe you need a newer version of bootmii.
