People have been known to download ALL of Wikipedia and write a browser for it. One example is from iPodLinux back in the day

[en.wikipedia.org] you can download a dump of all articles here. You could build a reader around that.

Yeah. If it wasn't for that, I would've been one of the people who carried it around on their iPod =p
