Helicopter Game

This game is really simple, but really fun!! If a version was made for the HBC, I think that'd be pretty awesome. What do you people think?

Well a flash game wouldn't be able to be ported, but cloned. I'm willing to bet there is already a clone of that, which could be ported if it is open source. Or someone could just clone this, since it is a pretty simple game.

Ya, I knew it wouldn't be able to be ported (since its flash), but, as you stated, its really simple, thus being able to be cloned......

Yeah it could be made in a few hours I bet. Very simple game, but fun.

I was looking for ideas for game plugin's for WiiRadio, maybe I'll do this.

Oooh, that'd be neat! I'd test! I would make it myself, except I haven't started learning C++ yet, although I'm planning on learning...eventually. :P

I have the sudden urge to clone this too :P

I might do it.. It'd be cool to have an online score database to see how you compare to everyone else. I could also make the game... better (add difficulty options, better graphics, etc.)

I think its the perfect kind of game for homebrew...It suits it, if that makes sense??

I wasted hours on that in class! My ideas for a homebrew version would be flying through a city with buildings on both the top and bottom. And have a bomb powerup or something. And my best is 2,184. I find that if you zoom out the screen a bunch it helps. I think it's depth perception or something.

I don't like the idea of a city....I like the original.

awww... Oh well! And here's a 1712 I just got. I thought a city would be cool. How about the inside of a factory? Machinery hanging from the ceiling and pistons that move up and down to hit you? That would be pretty sick.

Actually, if it was made, it could have multiple game modes, something like: Classic Mode, Factory Mode, and City Mode. I bet that could be incorporated into the game.....

lots of free time. =p Having insomnia doesn't help. Up every night playing SOMETHING. But college will stop that. WPI will eat me I'm guessing.

edit- wow I think more than that...but not much. And I like the thought of upside down buildings...with no artificial gravity. =o

Great....I thought it would. But WHY would anyone play the Helicopter game and get 6000 points?! That's almost as crazy as my little brother. Wait....I think his high score is up there.... =p Me gots an idea!

edit- I figure I'll record him playing it as I saw his high recorded in a pic at 5,891. Freakin A! My attention span isn't that long! =O
