im wondering if there is a possibility to make a .zip archiver for the wii (to compress and uncompress via the wii) if there is an existing one please post a link

Yes, it would be incredibly easy, since there is already a zip library. Basically, someone just needs to make a GUI to use with the library.

Yeah, Homebrew Browser already unzips everything it downloads, so it shouldn't be hard. I'd do it, but I can't program.
