[Reqeust]How about a app that allows you to watch .avi from your pc to your Wii

When I had a Xbox360, One of the things I loved was putting movies or acquiring
them usually in .avi and putting them in my public
folder and enabling the 360 in windows media player
and watching them via my pc on my 360.

Is it possible to do something like that??

I wish I knew how to code or use devkitpro

But im just not that smart...

What does everyone think? Bad idea, Good??

I think you can already use MPlayer (not sure which version) to do this via a SMB share.

I diden't know that...What is SMB share?

It's what linux uses to share files and read windows shares. But I would think a password free windows share would work, probably FAT32 is best.

Actually SMB is the protocol Windows and co. use. SMB = Server Message Blocks.
Today they call it CIFS

I know its illegal but its to bad there's
not a app out there that tricks the Wii
into thinking you have 2000pts..

It would get shut down really fast by nintendo.

I know one thing that needs to be done.
Whoever created Wii64 needs to fix it or update it or something.
Because everytime I play Castlevania64 on Wii64,
Its super super laggy and freezes after awhile...

do you know how difficult it is to make an emulator, its more guesswork than anything, it also takes ages to get a good stable emulator due to the fact that you are virtualising a machine that can be affected by the weather outside (no really, lightning storms can do hell to your wii)
