is there a way to make motion detection equal to the function of a button

like when i play snes or ps1 "shake wiimote" = A button

doesn't seem to unrealistic

I think he's talking about mapping a key to a motion sensor on Snes9x GX and others.

e.g. Super Mario World: Map Wiimote shake to B, so that when the Wiimote is shaken Mario runs,

VBAGX already does this with some ROMs.

... by using "Match Wii Controls" functions. But outside of that, you cannot map those functions to buttons.

Well, if it can be used by "match Wii controls" then it can't be too hard to implement this.
