DVD ripper

I'm not sure if there is an app that already does this. But it would be cool if there was an app that allows you to rip DVDs onto your Wii external HDD.
I have no coding skills whatsoever, but i think it would be useful.
Feedback?

If you are talking about backups, we dont support those here. If you are talking about movies, that would take forever. You could just use a computer....

just use dvd decryptor or DVD43 on your computer (or Mac the Ripper if you have a Mac) to rip your movies to a HD. If you're talking about games, as topgun said, thats not supported here.

PC all the way there. What's the point?

(Or is someone too lazy to pull out the external and plug it into the pc, XD)

Also ripping a DVD is somewhat illegal in the US.

Here in germany it's important if the disc you are trying to copy is protected. There's an extra law for this, if something is copy protected, you are not allowed to copy it, even for your own use. And software that allows to remove copy protection is forbidden in germany. I think i heard that the US law is similar in these 2 points.

PS: CSS is considered copy protection in germany, while we all know it's play protection
