REQ MSN App

I have a simple Idea

Why not have a MSN Messenger App.
With perhaps a webcam support of the cam from the game "Your Shape"

There are a few problems with your idea.
1. The way MSN messenger handles messages is most likely not known(I could be wrong though). This would mean that the way they send messages, and most likely some encyption would have to be reverse engineered. This is a lot of work for a little outcome.
2. The webcam from that game also doesn't work in homebrew, so that would also have to be figured out first.
3. The ammount of people that would use this isn't worth the effort of problems 1 and 2, so sorry, I doubt any developers will take this app on, but I may be wrong.

1. I don't think so, there are many chat clients out there that support MSN
2. True, a homebrew driver would need to be written to use the webcam.

Anyway, as said, I doubt enough people would use it for it to be worth the effort. However, sites like [ebuddy.com] should probably work on the Wii's Internet Channel, you could try that.

Pidgin is open source, so it should be possible to port it.It supports MSN.
